Applications are accepted any time for the positions listed below and are retained for 1 year. All applicants must pass DCF background screenings before being offered a position.

TEACHING POSITIONS

Head Start Lead Teacher (for 3 to 5 year olds)
- FCCPC/CDA, required
- AS Degree in ECE or Childhood Education or related field, preferred
- Three years classroom experience with relevant age group, required

Head Start Teacher (for 3 to 5 year olds)
- FCCPC/CDA, required
- AS Degree in ECE or Childhood Education or related field, preferred
- Three years classroom experience with relevant age group, preferred

Head Start Teacher Aide Full or Part Time (for 3 to 5 year olds)
- 40 Hour Introductory Child Care Training (DCF), required
- FCCPC/CDA or AS Degree in ECE or related field, preferred
- Three years classroom experience with relevant age group, preferred

Early Head Start Teacher (for Infants to 3 year olds)
- FCCPC/CDA with Infant Toddler Endorsement, required
- Three years classroom experience with relevant age group, preferred

All Teaching positions require:
- Five hour Literacy Course (DCF)
- Qualification preferences include Spanish/English bi-lingual and current First Aid/CPR certification.
